Shivani Patel PhD
Shivani A Patel, PhD, MPH, is Rollins Assistant Professor in the Hubert Department of Global Health and Epidemiology at Emory University and holds an Adjunct Faculty at the Public Health Foundation of India. Patel has worked in the area of implementation sciences applied to cardio-metabolic diseases in India since 2015, and is a member of NHLBI-funded HyTREC consortium to scale up hypertension care in middle income countries. She is also Associate Program Director of the Fogarty-funded COALESCE training program aimed at improving implementation science research skills among investigators based in LMICs. As a formally trained epidemiologist, Patel brings expertise in quantitative methods to the iHeartSA team and will contribute to evaluation efforts.
